Understanding Your First Scan Results

Scan status

• Running — the job is in progress.
• Completed — engines finished.
• Partially completed — one engine finished while another failed or stopped.
• Failed — the scan did not produce a usable completion.

What to review

1. Cookies — discovered cookies and categories.
2. Vendors — hosts grouped under vendor signatures when known.
3. Consent Verification (browser scans) — Pass, Fail, Inconclusive, Not tested, or Error per scenario.

Important considerations

Findings are technical observations. They are not a determination that a law was violated, and they do not decide whether a site is a HIPAA covered entity.
