Steps

1. Open Domains in the workspace.
2. Add the public hostname you want to manage (for example www.example.com).
3. Confirm the domain appears in the list and can be selected in the domain switcher.

Domain verification

Quick scans can run on an unverified domain. Standard, Deep, and scheduled monitoring require DNS verification:

1. Open the domain detail page.
2. Generate a verification token if one is not shown yet.
3. Publish the provided value as a DNS TXT record.
4. Return to the domain page and choose Verify TXT record.

When verification succeeds, the page shows that scheduled and deep scans can run.

Limits and rules

• A hostname can belong to only one organization.
• Scans refuse localhost, private networks, and link-local addresses.
• You are responsible for scanning sites you are authorized to test.
